1. There’s talk on them intarwebs about The Man playing some live dates. Can you believe it? I’m down for a road trip to Asheville, whaddyathink?

2. It’s all about hugs. From Boing Boing, Arizona students stage hug-a-thon to protest 2-second hug rule detentions.

1. From Open Left, Barack Obama and the Politics of Dignity.

Barack Obama is offering Americans dignity, and they’re grabbing it with both hands. Dignity permeates his speeches, informs his policies, and is evident in his manner. Whether he intended to or not, Obama has become a herald of the politics of dignity.

2. From Boing Boing, now you can work an Etch-a-Sketch with a mouse. Technology is a wondrous thing.

3. I think the Nocturnes section of the website is finally more or less done. Not that there won’t be new pieces added, but now all of the pieces shown there are finished, as opposed to works-in-progress. There’s still some fine tuning to do here and there, but it’s more or less done.
