Booth Shot

When you enter outdoor shows, you have to have a “booth shot” of your display, set up more or less like it would be at a show. Show artists always debate what this image should showcase: As much of your work as possible? A small, uniform sample of your best pieces? The fact that you do indeed have a body of quality work and not just the 3 works you sent slides of? The fact that you own, and can even remember how to assemble, a show tent and display?

Me, I just show ‘em my dog…

  1. Heck-I’d let you in the show!
That is a neat trick. But I think I’d have to drug my cat, Marlys, to make her pose…
