Went to the beach with The Girl for my birthday, in spite of the fact that I’ve been a little under the weather lately. There are few things better than the beach in the off-season. It was a lovely trip.

I enjoyed that demcentral post too. I have been trying to say that to folks here in the ‘ville for awhile but I cant say it quite that eloquently or have the same authority behind it. Interesting about the sheriff’s races being the real contested races in the Commonwealth. I love the beach in off-season, I was proposed to in March in the Outer Banks so a special fondness.
