3. Today’s dose of hypocrisy from the GOP: How bizzare that “family values” Sen. Larry Craig, after pleading guilty of doing whatever in the men’s room, blames all of his problems on the media. And this from Talking Points Memo on the call for the ouster of gays from the party by the “Idaho Values Alliance”:
Let the purges begin. Presumably, in addition to homosexuals, the GOP must be cleansed of the divorced, adulterers, abortion recipients, gamblers . . . the list goes on. Once you remove all the “sinners” from the Republican Party, the Democrats should hold a decided electoral advantage.
