Fog

1. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes! The Charlottesville return of Wilco.

No. No. No. No. Nooooooooo! I’m in Alabama that weekend.

2. I was coming back from my run the other morning in a pouring down rain. I was almost back at my condo when I looked up and saw a slow, gray cloud creeping over the top of Carter’s Mountain, which is just outside of town past where I live. The color of the cloud was slightly different than the cloudy sky behind it, so it looked like a giant, slow-motion wave overtaking the hill and spilling down this side. I stood and watched it for at least five minutes - it was so beautiful. I went home and got my camera, but by then the whole hill was pretty much enveloped in cloud. I shot this, which looks nothing like the original scene I saw, but it’s still a decent pic.

  1. I really need to learn how to take photos with some actual skill. That is a great pic.
