Went to Berkeley Springs, West Virginia for a couple of days. Took a few pics on the way up, but nothing of any great import. It was a pleasant enough trip, though I doubt I would go back.
Shentai was amazing. Like nothing I have ever seen before.
We played ball tonight and won 15-14 in the bottom of the last inning when the opposing pitcher walked in the winning run. Not a great way to win, but we’ll take it.
And now, a napping dog.

1. Let us all bow down now, and give thanks for Wilco.
2. We lost, and lost badly, at softball on Thursday. So it goes.
3. Off to Lynchburg tonight.
4. Tomorrow night: Shentai!
5. On an unrelated note:

My show this weekend was fun and somewhat more successful than I had planned. Not that I will be retiring anytime soon.
This week: Lots of housepainting, various social activities, kickball, softball, etc.
Old picture. February 2003, Ix Building, Charlottesville.

Off to Bethesda, MD for a little one day show tomorrow. It’s hot as crap and my van has no a.c.
Leaf, Blue Ridge Parkway.

I tried to save a turtle today. I went back for him, but saw drops of blood next to him in the road. He was still alive, but didn’t seem to have much life. I was a little unsure - maybe it would have been more humane to put him out of his misery (not that I would have been able to do this, really) - but I I took him back into some woods and left him there. I doubt he survived, but I tried to do the best I could.
This is from a few months ago. I think it’s a brown pelican. Nags Head, NC.

Rainy spring days are good days to take photographs.
Bunny. Newly-found abandoned house (with thanks to SB). Today.
